The Yellow Rope by MA Church

The Yellow Rope by M.A. Church
Publisher: eXtasy Books
Genre: BDSM, M/M, GLBT, Contemporary, Erotic Romance
Length: 126 pages

Summary:

A cranky submissive…

Luke Walker is tired. He spends long hours between his job as a teacher assistant at an elementary school and helping out his family at their restaurant. Coupled with the fact his degree is going to waste, he’s discouraged and fatigued by too much work and endless southern heat, and not enough time spent with his live-in partner.

An understanding Dom…

Gage Holt has been on both sides of the fence. He believes that in order to be a good Dom, one has to understand being a sub. Unfortunately, he’s had some bad experiences in pursuit of that knowledge and suffered a great deal. But that’s in the past now.

A long weekend…

Three little days…Gage is determined to see that his man gets what he needs in every way he can give it to him. For the next seventy-two hours, he’s going to pamper his boy—in his way.

Evelise’s Review:

The Yellow Rope by M.A. Church delivered a lighter side of BDSM as loving couple Gage and Luke prepare for three full days of play and no work. Luke, a teacher, is stressed by the job and the help he gives at his parents’ restaurant. Gage recognizes that his boy needs to relax and what better way to do that than with the upcoming three day break?

Ms. Church addressed the issues of all work and no play can make for a cranky sub and frustrated Dom. In setting the scene of an erotic weekend, she portrayed sex as fun, not as a chore. The banter between the two men was light-hearted, fun and completely sexy. I found myself smiling throughout the wonderful ways Gage wanted to make his boy relax. By the end of the story, Luke could not have been more relaxed and ready to tackle the work week again.

Gage was portrayed as s strong man with underlying issues that he revealed to Luke on their weekend together. Luke was able to gain better insight into the mind of his partner and Dom.

Although The Yellow Rope had an element of BDSM, the story was delivered as a more peaceful and tranquil lifestyle and not a regimented undertaking. Ms. Church’s characterization was uplifting and believable.

Second Chance at Love by Diana DeRicci

Second Chance at Love by Diana DeRicci
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Genre: GLBT, Contemporary, Erotic Romance, M/M
Length: 106 pages

Summary:

The hole in Tony Teagan’s heart is slowly shrinking. Since losing the love of his life, he’s buried himself in running West TonDe Press, but now he can remember the good times. Still, that doesn’t mean he’s ready for a new man in his life. Then he meets nighttime delivery guy Brandon, who appears on his doorstep with Thai food. Tony’s interest is piqued despite their ten-year age difference, and Brandon is all for a new relationship. Relinquishing his hold on his deceased lover is the hardest challenge Tony will face, but if his future is combined with Brandon’s, he may have a second chance at love after all.

Evelise’s Review:

Second Chance at Love by Diana DeRicci was a lovely and whimsical story of love lost and love found. Tony and Devyn were co-owners of West TonDe Press, until tragically, two years previous, Devyn unexpectedly died of a heart attack; leaving Tony bereft and lost. Brandon is a struggling student, working two jobs, going to school and barely getting two full night’s sleep a week.

When Tony encounters Brandon, he immediately felt a kinship to the harried looking young man and wanted to pay it forward. Tony offered Brandon a job is his agency as a cover model. Little did he know allowing Brandon into the agency would also mean allowing him into his heart.

The story was a delightful read as both men came to terms with their professional and personal relationship. For being older than Brandon, I thought that Tony was more hesitant in his desired pursuits, but Ms. DeRicci allowed his character to mature and act upon his feelings for the younger man, especially since Tony was only widowed two years previously.

Brandon was a strong character, who knew what he wanted in his life and in his anticipated relationship with Tony. Although he was nine years his junior, Brandon’s life experiences gave him a mature quality rarely seen in a twenty four year old.

Ms. DeRicci demonstrated that love can be found again in the least expected places. She did a beautiful job of melding Tony’s past love with a new love, finally allowing him to lay the past to rest and surge forward with Brandon.

What attracted me initially to the book was the cover. It was simply lovely. After reading the book, Brandon’s character was captured beautifully as a younger, carefree individual who embraced life and Tony. Ms. DeRicci kept my attention and delivered a happily ever after that made my heart feel lighter and put a smile on my face.

Take Me, Break Me by H C Brown

Take Me, Break Me by H C Brown
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Genre: BDSM, Contemporary, Erotic Romance
Length: 200 pages

Summary:

Reno Rocket, bass player for the rock band Dazed, thinks he is on the straight and narrow but is his girlfriend just a cover for his confused sexuality? When the new lead singer, Tanner Star, walks in Reno’s libido snaps to attention. His attraction to the famous rock star is immediate and disconcerting. Performing with Tanner every night blows Reno’s mind, and the moment Tanner grinds against him on stage “curious” takes on a whole new meaning.

Tanner wants more than a lover. He wants a sub, and he’s willing to guide Reno into the world of BDSM. In turn, Reno wants to be everything to Tanner—lover, sub, and partner—but he fears the ghost of Tanner’s dead boyfriend will come between them.
At first they manage to find a balance and life is idyllic . . . until one rash action by Tanner plunges their new love affair into chaos. Will Reno admit to the world he’s gay and face the media and his family’s wrath, or will he deny the love and exquisite attention Tanner’s world has brought him?

Samhain Queene’s Review:

It took me a bit to really get into Take Me, Break Me by H C Brown, but it was really good story once I was able to jump in.

Take Me, Break Me is the coming out story of Reno Rocket who falls hopelessly for Tanner Star. Reno always thought himself straight, but being a member of Dazed opened his eyes to who he truly was. But for Reno being gay isn’t going to be easy. It takes a leap of trust into Tanner’s world of BDSM and falling in love for Reno to find his happiness.

I liked seeing the dynamic play out between Tanner and Reno. They had some ups and downs followed by one major revelation that threatened to tear them apart. Ms. Brown created two great characters and took them on a journey that taught them both lessons.

See the Light by Cassandra Carr

See the Light by Cassandra Carr
Publisher: Loose-Id
Genre: GLBT, Contemporary, Erotic Romance, M/M
Length: Novel

Summary:

Hockey player Jason Monroe lives a double life—star defenseman and soon-to-be Olympian on the ice and closeted gay man outside the rink. A serious relationship is out of the question, and Jason makes do with anonymous sex in barroom bathrooms, not willing to take the chance on coming out as gay in a decidedly macho sport.

Advisor to the US Olympic hockey team Patrick Parker knows a thing or two about being a professional hockey player who’s not out. He’s fifteen years older than Jason, and when he senses the sexy younger man is interested, he knows he shouldn’t give in to the attraction.

The two men can’t keep their hands off each other, though, and with each heated encounter it gets harder to hide their relationship. When their world blows up around them, forcing them into the limelight, though, will their love survive or be put on ice?

Lasha’s Review:

Hockey, the Olympics and one closeted gay man is what See the Light is all about. Jason Monroe is training for the Olympics. He’s sexy, athletic and deeply in lust with his team’s advisor, Patrick Parker. Despite being attracted to each other, the men agree it would be problematic to enter into a relationship. Trouble is they can’t keep their hands off of one another. When disaster occurs, will they crawl back into their closets or expose their real selves to the world?

What I liked about See the Light was the May-December romance between Jason and Patrick. Their chemistry was off the charts, and was the best part of the novel for me. Every aspect of their relationship was fascinating. But, my real issue with See the Light and why I did not rate it higher, was despite the plot being about a potential Olympic hockey player, we really did not get a lot of sports action. And in a book about a professional athlete, I want to read about the game. I wanted the nitty gritty of the hockey world and didn’t get it.

So while I enjoyed See the Light on a few levels, mainly, the chemistry between the two main characters and their coming out plot; an opportunity to showcase hockey for the reader was lost in my mind. But still, recommended for people who like May-December romances and an Out For You storyline.

DDR Red Carpet & Giveaway Presents: Running Scared by Billi Jean

Running Scared by Billi Jean
Series: Love’s Command, Book One
Publisher: Total-E-Bound Publishing
Genre: Contemporary, Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense
Length: 277 pages

Amazon Kindle   Barnes and Noble Nook

Summary:

Book one in the Love’s Command Series

When a woman running scared runs into the arms of a sexy cowboy, she might lose her fear, but will she also lose her heart?

When a woman on the run hits a town right out of the Wild West, the first cowboy she meets sets his sights on her. Alone, scared, and starting over, Susan will have to decide if the big, bad Russell Ryland, retired Navy SEAL, now rancher, is for real or just using up his down time between missions.

Russell takes one look at the smiling, blue-eyed beauty and realises there’s a heck of a lot more after retirement than he’d thought. As he begins to dream of a life with Susan, he fights an unfamiliar battle within himself-doubt. Does she want him, or is she merely out for some fun?

Time for the reluctant couple nearly runs out when the very men Susan is hiding from come to call. Will Russell wake up quickly enough to save her? Or will their doubts get them both killed?

AJ’s Review:

Wowza! Billi Jean has penned a riveting story with engaging characters and enough smoking hot sex to keep this reader’s toes curled in pure, unadulterated pleasure for days. The action is fast-paced, the sexual chemistry between Susan and Russell is explosive, and the suspense is edgy enough to keep the reader enthralled until the very end.

Lacey (aka Susan) is intelligent, sexy, strong, and just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. As a result, her life has been turned upside down and now she’s on the run from the Russian mob. But this damsel is no damsel in distress, well, that is until she meets Russell who makes her body tingle in all the right places.

Russell is a sexy alpha who is all male and knows how to kick butt and take names. But even this gorgeous creature has demons of his own to battle, which makes him vulnerable and unable to trust. However, when Russell lays eyes on Susan, all bets are off because this former Navy Seal knows exactly what he wants. While the sex is hot and the danger is palpable, will this dynamic duo’s inability to trust and excess baggage prevent them from finding their Happily Ever After before it’s too late?

Running Scared has everything: humorous, witty dialogue, scorching hot sex, intelligent, strong-willed characters with heart and soul, enough action and danger to keep the reader begging for more, and a complex plot that is entertaining. My only niggle with Running Scared is that the editing could have been better. But overall, Billi Jean has penned one amazing story that has me itching to know what happens next in her Love’s Command series.

“You’re going to kiss me, aren’t you?”

“Yeah, I’m burning, baby. Just a kiss, I swear.” His voice was husky with need.
She made him wait before she gave in to his subtle tug on her hand. Thankfully, his seat was far enough back from the steering wheel that she could fit her tiny body on his lap without having to move the seat back. He wasn’t able to think clearly enough to do more than try to keep her off his cock, let alone worry about a wheel digging into her curves.

“Are you burning a little, honey?” he asked, then slowly lowered her onto his lap. She straddled him easily, as if she belonged there. He kept her off his aching groin with a willpower he hadn’t known he had. Cradling the back of her silky head, he brought his other arm tightly around her waist and pulled her to his chest, slowly lowering his mouth to hers.

The first slow glide was so good it was like coming home, only he’d never had a home. But if he had, God, this would be it. She was so hot that the kiss burned into his brain, erasing any other kiss from his memory. A low groan escaped before he could hold it in, but he kept his kiss gentle, soft and light until he felt the tension slowly ease out of her back and neck. She reminded him of a nervous colt, ready to lunge away at any sudden moves. And he needed fast and hard, but he slowed down, concentrating on her flavour, her sweetness and the velvet heat they were creating.

When she eased against him even more, he licked her mouth gently, tilting his head to fit his mouth firmly over hers. The first taste of her was electrifying. It wasn’t sweet or soft, it was pure sex. So fantastic, he forgot everything but his tongue sliding into warm sunshine. She tasted like the ice cream they’d shared, but wicked and all woman. Her tongue met his exploring mouth and hot white desire flooded him. She moaned and her hands came up to shift through his hair, scratching along his scalp with just the right amount of burn. His cock swelled so tight under his jeans, she had to feel it. He shoved the demands for more down, too caught up in what felt like the first real kiss he’d ever had to ruin it with more than Susan was already giving him. Holy hell, she tasted good. The woman could kiss. She kissed him like no one ever had.

He pulled her closer. Her full breasts pressed against his chest and, God, what he wouldn’t do to have both of those beauties in his hands right now.

He lifted his mouth from her lips reluctantly, but he had to see her face. She was beyond beautiful, so warm and giving he was close to an orgasm. Her pink, swollen lips parted, and she blinked her blue eyes open. “Mmm, Russell.”

“Damn, honey, you taste like sunshine.” He breathed her in and took her mouth with another hungry kiss. He was on the edge of losing control. He could feel his thighs tense, his stomach muscles clench, but he wasn’t ending this. Not now that he finally had it.

He’d never been a kisser. Sex was hot, long and wet. But he’d not been heavy on kissing. This was more erotic than any sex he’d ever had, in so many ways. He was lost to it. And, thank God, so was Susan. She pressed against his body, touching his jaw with her fingers before skimming those beautiful hands down his neck and shoulders. She caressed her way down his arms, then back up again to mould her hands around his shoulders and back.

They seemed to melt into one another, then. He couldn’t get her close enough. She seemed to think the same thing and wrapped her small arms around his neck, leaning into him completely. Their tongues met and stroked, teased and lingered until he was breathless. He felt the beginnings of an orgasm building, and had to clench his thighs and pull back slowly, or he’d have to let it go and spill down his jeans like some teenager with his first date.

Breaking the kiss slowly, he looked down at her and realised two things. One—he could never get enough of kissing this woman. And two—he had pulled her down on his lap and she was sitting firmly on his erection. There was no way she couldn’t feel it. When her eyes opened, his cock jumped. Her eyes widened and she sucked in a breath, easing back to look down.

“Sorry, baby…”

“Oh, Russell, that was… That is… Oh!” She eased back even more and rubbed her hands over his shoulders and chest, while her face stayed hidden, looking down at his cock outlined in his jeans like some flashlight in his pants.

His heart was pounding so fast, she must have been able to hear it. She should slap him. Yell. Jump off him. He deserved it. He’d taken her out one time, asked—no, told her he was going to kiss her, then ground her down on his cock.

She raised her head and whispered, “Russell, I think you like kissing me.”

Relief flooded him. “Ah, hell…”

Her blue eyes danced with a mixture of excitement and mischief. He knew right then and there that he was a lost man. Leaning forward, she ran her hands over his chest and up, teasing him even more by leaning forward so they were a breath apart.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah, but I, I mean, we don’t have to do more.” God, that came out of his mouth and both his brains were screaming ‘yeah, we do, you idiot!’

She leaned in and kissed him again, gently caressing his mouth with hers. God, he was going to lose it. “Or we can go in…”

To the bedroom. Suddenly, an image of sex with her flashed through his mind, hot, wet and so good. Would she be upset afterwards? She might regret it. She was a little standoffish still, not as hot as he was by any means, and he sensed something else that his lust-filled brain was trying to tell him. She seemed shy with her kisses. They were driving him to a whole new level of arousal, but, , he needed to be the one to put a brake on this because she would be upset if this moved in the direction his body needed.

He pulled her head closer, cupping her beautiful face with both hands, and took her mouth again in a long, lingering kiss, but kept it soft and gentle even though it was killing him.

Raising his head, he tucked his face in her silky hair and inhaled. She smelt so good—a flowery, female scent that seemed to both relax him and make his cock jump. Her body moulded to his, soft in all the right places. She felt completely right in his arms. Perfect.

Controlling the Burn by Tonya Ramagos

Controlling the Burn by Tonya Ramagos
Publisher: Siren-Bookstrand Publishing
Genre: GLBT, Contemporary, Erotic Romance, M/M
Length: 92 pages

Summary:

Drew Ward knows how to keep his head in the game and, now that he’s accomplished his mission to become one of the elite Loveland Smoke Jumpers, he’s turning his attention to the man he’s wanted nearly half his life. Seasoned smoke jumper Wesley Payton might be twenty years older, but he’s one hotbed of perfection Drew aims to have, and he won’t stop his pursuit until Wesley belongs to him.

Wesley has avoided being caught alone with Drew for six weeks, but he hasn’t managed to evade the fire burning inside him for the younger man. Drew is sinfully sexy, dangerously tempting, and Wesley knows if he lets the man get too close he’ll be toast. But Drew isn’t a man who backs off easily, and when Wesley suddenly finds himself in the man’s arms, he knows he’s parachuted into a wildfire he won’t be able to control.

Lasha’s Review:

Who doesn’t love a good firefighter romance novel? Tonya Ramagos doesn’t disappoint with her new book, Controlling the Burn. Rookie smoke jumper Drew Ward had just landed his dream job and now wants to win the man who he’s had a crush on for years, Wesley Payton. Yes, there may be a twenty year age difference between the two men and Wesley knew Drew’s father – they were smoke jumpers together before he died – but the chemistry simmering between the two men cannot be denied. With fire season starting will Drew finally get his man?

In the past, I’ve been drawn into buying a firefighter novel with a good blurb and a pretty cover, only to be disappointed when I read the book. That is not the case with Controlling the Burn. The story is excellent, I love a good May-December romance and the overall realism of the book gets high marks too. In some scenes I really felt as if I was there with Drew fighting fires! Add in some scorching love scenes, an intriguing back story with Wesley having been friends with Drew’s deceased father and this novel hit all my buttons.

So, if you like sexy firemen, one younger guy on a mission to seduce the object of his desire and an interesting storyline, then Controlling the Burn is the book for you! Recommended.

Storm Season by Nicola Cameron

Storm Season by Nicola Cameron
Publisher: Evernight Publishing
Genre: GLBT, Erotic Contemporary, Mutli Partners, M/M/M
Length: 390 pages

Summary:

Ian West had his summer all planned out — go down to Florida, stay in his family’s beach cottage on Olympic Cove, and work on his science fiction novel. But his plans get thrown for a loop when gorgeous twin sea gods Bythos and Aphros show up in the cove and inform him he’s their fated consort. As if that wasn’t enough, something in the Gulf of Mexico is turning mermaids into legendary monsters and gods into demons. Now, Ian not only has to navigate the complicated waters of a ménage relationship with twin sea gods, he also has to stop an insane deity and save the whole damn planet. No pressure.

Samhain Queene’s Review:

I could not put this book down. I was a little worried about the Greek mythology piece of the story because of my background in Classics. But all of it was handled really well and showed a very modern take. What tied it all together was the environmental aspect. Showing how something like an oil spill can negatively affect the world.

Ian’s relationship with Bythos and Aphros was handled well. I liked seeing how their connection to the water was exacerbated by the human danger to the environment. The trio had lots of ups and downs, but all of them were important to the overall lead up to the conclusion.

Storm Season by Nicola Cameron was a great story with an important message. Definitely worth the time to read.

Publisher: Self Published
Genre: Erotic Contemporary Romance
Length: 126 pages

Summary:

Graham Hall is a twenty-six year old Texan with the job of his dreams. He’s just finished his latest travel article and has earned some personal down time. With six months left on his cabin lease in the Colorado Rockies, Graham chooses to stick around and soon finds himself set up with a feisty, down on her luck in the love department candy maker named Jane.

Jane hates driving in the mountains in winter and isn’t used to being outside the kitchen, but when she arrives at the small isolated cabin and gets a look at it’s tenant, she quickly forgets all about that. Jane is tongue-tied and ticked off. She’s been tricked.

Confrontations, slamming doors, and an extra cheese pizza later, Graham is caught up in Jane’s tart tongue and curvy body. She denies her desire for him more times than she can count, and when she finally gives in, she is rewarded with scorching hot sex and a bliss she couldn’t have imagined for herself.

Graham’s persistence and unrelenting pursuit leads Jane to believe that maybe life doesn’t have to revolve around chocolate truffles, but rather should revolve around a delicious, well-traveled, sexy younger man.

Susan’s Review:

Lissa Matthew’s short story, Melting Jane, almost melted me! I absolutely fell in love with Jane and Graham in the first chapter. The story throws you right into the action in typical Matthew’s style: hot, fast, and intriguing.

Jane soon began to annoy me, though, because of her constant bad attitude toward her major hangups. Her resolve to not solve her issues took up too much space. Her gay roommate was a crackup and an annoyance as he tried to play matchmaker one too many times. Graham, bless his heart, was smitten with Jane and his character’s strength grew on me as the story went on. He carried the story in terms of his determination and the down to Earth comments he would make.

For a fun read that will make you laugh out loud as well as groan, check out Melting Jane.

Too Devious To Tame by Doris O’Connor

Too Devious To Tame by Doris O’Connor
Series: The Giovanni Clan, Book# 3
Publisher: Evernight Publishing
Genre: Erotic, Contemporary Romance
Length: 162 pages

Summary:

When Giorgio Giovanni tracks the troublesome Jemima down in a hospital bed in Italy, he has one thing on his mind—revenge. However, the fragile woman he encounters is not the devious female he remembers. When it becomes clear that she is in danger, he risks everything to keep her safe.

Left for dead, Jemima wakes up in hospital, terrified, and with no idea of her identity. The angry man, who comes to claim her, is the only link to a shared past she can’t remember. A past that threatens to destroy them, and all she has ever held dear.

With danger all around them, and their sexual chemistry off the scale, can they find their way back to each other, or is the past too devious to tame?

Be Warned: anal sex, rimming, bondage, forced seduction, sex toys, physical abuse of heroine.

Susan’s Review:

I had to read the opening to Too Devious To Tame a couple of times to really get the feel for this book. I had a difficult time because I just couldn’t really get a good feel for the characters primarily because Doris O’Connor did such a great job of knocking the reader off guard early on. Not quite sure who the bad guy here was, I was left rereading to make sure I hadn’t quite missed out on an important clue somewhere along the line.

Not your typical storyline, so Too Devious To Tame is very refreshing from multiple angles, beginning with the opening. Giorgio is a complex man, more so than most, who is intertangled in the mafia, his godfather, and in trying to save the life of a woman he once loved. Who is deceiving who? Too Devious To Tame is a wonderfully written novel with an intricate plot that takes you on loops and dives all the way to the end. You are never quite sure who to believe or what exactly is the extent of the deceit so you have to keep reading for more and more.

I found myself countering back and forth in liking Jemima and not liking her and I felt the same way about Giorgio. I loved the number of twists and turns that Ms. O’Connor skillfully wove into her tale, at times it appeared almost magically. Reader beware: Hot sexcapades are interwoven throughout this story, some are even a bit graphic.

Kill Shot by Liliana Hart

Kill Shot by Liliana Hart
Publisher: Self Published
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Length: 312 pages

Summary:

Grace Meredith is the CIA’s most deadly assassin. Too bad she’s gone off the grid and become a mercenary for hire. After the death of her daughter by a sniper’s bullet, Grace can no longer stomach the demands of agency life or keep herself from blaming the only man she’s ever loved. Her mind and body are fragile, and she knows she’s just a step away from breaking down completely.

Gabe Brennan holds the weight of the world on his shoulders. As one of the most brilliant black ops agents the CIA has ever employed, he knows it’s no one’s fault but his own that his child was gunned down in cold blood. He might not have been able to save his daughter, but he’s determined to save his wife. He only has to find her first.

Sexual tension crackles between Gabe and Grace from the moment they’re reunited, but between the man who is hunting them, a secret that’s been buried for eighty years, and a turbulent past—the odds are stacked against them.

Susan’s Review:

Having met Gabe Brennan in Liliana Hart’s Mackenzie brother stories, I had to do a double take while reading Kill Shot. What originally appeared as a sexy and sinfully trained warrior in reality is a complex man with about as much emotional baggage as an airline delivers in one day. His wife turns out to be just as much of a bad ass as Gabe, but with even more emotional baggage. Separated for years due to the stress and heartbreak of losing their daughter, they reunite to ruin the man responsible for their sorrow while trying not to destroy each other.

I am constantly impressed by the depth that Ms. Hart puts into the heart and soul of her stories. They tug at you emotionally on various levels and through her constant tying in of characters from one story into another, the reader already feels like they know them and just gets caught up in the whirlwind of her writing style.

Erotic suspense, filled with multiple moments of action, packaged nicely with seductive, steaming SEX. What else could you ask for? Kill Shot does not disappoint in any of those three areas. Sitting on the edge of your seat is what you will be doing as Gabe and Grace try to finish this once in a lifetime mission without self exploding from their frantic bouts of sex. Will they be able to break down the bad guy or will their emotional attachment bring them both down? You’ll just have to read it to find out!!

Evelise’s Review:

The Perfect Sub by Jayson Locke was a sinfully, sexy venture in the 1Night Stand series, a series which I thoroughly enjoy. Drew is a submissive and attempted to create in himself the perfect sub as he desired to capture the attention of Dom Holt Benedict. Drew has been pining over Holt for some time but through chatter, he heard that Holt only desired the perfect sub. In his attempt to recreate himself into perfection Drew unwillingly pushed Holt further away.

In his angst and his need to eradicate Holt from his system, Drew contacted Madame Eve of the 1Night Stand agency and requested a date to assist him in getting over Holt. As always Madame Eve knows what’s best and in the case of Drew, the best is Holt.

Holt’s dominant personality radiated through the pages as Jayson Locke described him both emotionally and physically. I truly felt like I was able to connect with Holt and his desire for Drew.

The author gave Drew strength of character and a sense of reality; most decidedly when Drew realized that his perfect submission was only perfect when it exuded through the one that truly loved him. Jayson Locke allowed Drew to mature in his submission as Drew forged a bond with Holt, permitting Holt to see his inner beauty, flaws and all. In that, perfection was achieved.

The sex was steamy with a sprinkle of kink.  An erotically, delightful quick read, The Perfect Sub is a great addition to the 1Night Stand series.
